Cannabis the way it was meant to be.

Our story

We began in 2020 with an organic fruit and vegetable farm. We didn’t make any money, but we really enjoyed bringing fresh fruits and veggies to our community. We planted seeds with kids at the Wisner Farmer’s Market, supplied Farm2PreK programs around the area, and tended the EOP/Ernie Davis Community Center Urban Garden, producing 200+ pounds of food per year.

When we were granted a legal 21+ recreational cannabis license in 2024 (OCM-MICR-24-000129) we promised ourselves that we’d stick to our principles: people and planet over profit. Since opening the doors of The Dabber Hashery/High Note Dispensary in 2024, we’ve worked to keep things fresh and affordable.

You won’t find any flash packaging or fancy name brands here. Just good cannabis and great edibles grown and processed the way they should be.

Picked with care

Don’t get us wrong, farming is tough. Upstate NY has beautiful stretches of farmland but below the soil are huge rocks, massive quantities of clay, and difficult weather. But where’s there’s sun and rain, there’s plants. We grow in the ground, not in plastic, and we use basic systems like rainwater capturing and low till soil regeneration to keep things low tech and low cost.

We rely heavily on volunteer label and our friends and family when harvest comes. Once our plants seem ready to leave the field, they are either bucked straight into the freezer for our amazing ice water hash and hash infused pre-rolls or they are triple washed (to help with allergies) and hung to dry before they are gently cured.

“I can’t say enough good things about this place - the staff makes you feel right at home — they’re friendly, helpful, and know their products inside and out. The shop itself is really clean and easy to walk through, and there’s always a ton of options no matter what you’re looking for. The quality has been consistently great. Be sure to stop and shop here.”
